Northern California's mobilization march and rally to demand of the U.S. delegation to the United Nations Conference of Parties in Paris (COP21) a global agreement to implement dramatic and rapid reduction in global warming pollution.
We'll assemble at the Lake Merritt Amphitheatre (map) at 10:30 am, and march (route) at noon to Frank Ogawa/Oscar Grant Plaza in front of Oakland's City Hall (map). A rally at 1:00 pm will follow the march (see programs at Lake Merritt and Oscar Grant Plaza below).
Some will march in contingents: see map and listing of contingent assembly locations.
Please RSVP on Facebook!

Accessibility information: The rally and march route are wheelchair accessible, as are two of the ten porta-potties at Frank H. Ogawa plaza. Live transcription (CART) of the speeches will be provided on a screen at Oscar Grant/Frank H. Ogawa plaza. There will be reserved seating near the front of the plaza for people who need to see the live transcription, for wheelchair users, for others who need to need to be near the front and for all their companions. There will be ten armless folding metal chairs; feel free to bring your own chairs. There also will be plenty of seating on the backless stone seating in the amphitheater that's not too far from the stage. There will be volunteers at the info booth to answer accessibility questions (and other questions about the event).
