Memorial: Lives Lost to Climate Change in Summer 2015

Summer is coming to an end but we cannot forget how deadly it was. In India and Pakistan alone over 3500 people died and thousands more were affected by heat waves linked to climate change. Join us at a memorial to mark the end of summer and remember the lives lost, and to reflect on what actions WE can take to influence world leaders as they prepare to gather in Paris to address environmental issues and climate change.

Gather at 4:30 PM on the steps of the Asian Art Museum, 200 Larkin St, San Francisco, CA 94102 (closest BART is Civic Center BART). We will start walking at 5:00PM up Market St. to Powell St., then up Powell to Union Wear WHITE, bring FLOWERS and CANDLES and SIGNS.
