Night March for a Fossil Free Future (UC Berkeley)

Fossil Free Cal will lead its 2nd annual night march (a.k.a. "dorm storm") through UC Berkeley's southside dorms, aimed at stirring new students to engage in its ongoing campaign to force UC Regents to divest the 97% of investment in toxic fossil fuels that remain in the UC portfolio after this month's modest divestment of coal and tar-sands holdings -- and at building a Cal contingent for the NCCM's mobilization in November. Students, alumni, community, and faculty are urged to bring whistles, drums, megaphones, signs, and passionate voices.

Meet at the intersection of Bancroft Way and College Avenue to begin marching at 8pm on Wednesday 30 Sept. RSVP on Facebook, and please spread the word.
